C.R.I.M.E (Creating Role Models In Media Enterprise) is a non profit scheme aimed at taking troubled young people, gang members and ex-offenders and introducing them to the world of TV, Film and Events. It was set up by ex-gang member, rapper and film director Fredi ‘KRUGA’ Nwaka in an attempt to help troubled youth and ex offenders not only launch a career in media and music, but also to re integrate those who have perhaps been alienated from society because of their history or associations.
C.R.I.M.E aims to divert young people away from violent crime through use of real life story telling.
If Only Film Screening at The Tavistock and Portman Clinic | FEB 2016
Creating Role Models has teamed up with the NHS (The Tavistock and Portman Clinic) to present an insightful evening looking into the world of gang culture and it’s effects from both a clinical aspect as well as from the perpetrators. The evening will consist of the film screening, key note speakers and real life testimonies as well as an opportunity to network and participate in a Q&A.

We aim not only to help the young people we encounter directly but to hopefully inspire their peers and the wider community. To this end ‘all publicity is good publicity’ and we welcome the support and interest from journalists and our National broadcasters.
WHAT WE DO
We use film and media to challenge, inspire and engage our young people. This forms the foundation to our workshops and the participants are involved in all aspects from conception to completion and all that occurs in-between.
The Back2Black Awards is an annual fund-raising gala conceived by Creating Role Models to celebrate and recognise the extraordinary contributions ordinary people have made to our community. Currently held at the BAFTA London headquarters the award ceremony kicks-off UK Black History Month in extravagant style.

Schools and all child services should make it a priority to use this film as part of a workshop to inform children of the consequences of being a road man” Beverley Knight Pictured [Read More Here]
